The thing about fortune cookies

I had a couple of the tasty crispy fortune cookies the other day and thought of sharing these cute messages with you.

I thought the most relevant and the most divine note was the one about "people will believe most anything that is whispered to another". It will be wonderful if Dainty Belle will come up on the first page of Google everyday - known for providing the best of Australia's bath and body care gift solutions! Yeah!

Support Local Industries

Today, I caught up with some mates to share in my excitement about the launch of my online business and share about my passion on supporting local businesses especially our own beautiful bath and body care products.

The products I carry from these companies all have a story to tell. Billie Goat Soap started because a Mum wanted to solve skincare issues for her children. The aromatic products from Thurbly Herb Farm are handmade in Walpole and the business basically provides for the community there. These are threads of sustainability but more importantly it illustrates the spirits of hardworking entrepreneurial Australians. I think these are beautiful values that we should all embrace.

I hope that when you are out shopping - stop before you purchase and think how great it is that you can play a part to reduce your carbon footprint when you support our own local industry.

Organic findings on Google

Today, I was delighted to find out first and foremost that Dainty Belle is top two on the front page of Google! What a fantastic feeling! To be honest, its amazing, its like you have been given a reward after putting in the hours. Like everyone says, you have to put in the hard yards and its TRUE!!!!

Here's an image below that I took from the google search. I typed in "Dainty Belle" and its on the first spot on Google first page.


Next up, I thought I will try and see if my website comes up using the search "Australian hand cream" and guess what! Dainty Belle is on the first page too. Unbelievable! It was on the fourth spot.

I guess third time lucky, I tried "Australian body lotion" and voila the results are top three on the first page.



Maybe tomorrow I should go and buy some lottery! Wish me luck.
